A New Year and Some Big Changes

2007 just rolled in out of nowhere it seems. The holidays were mostly a blur for me as I just relocated back to Texas from Virginia. I had been in southwest Virginia for about 4 and a half years and finished the remainder of my 10 year stint in Virginia Beach.

The Dallas area has changed a lot in 10 years. I imagine if I had spent that much time away from anywhere else I would say the same thing. While familiar, things don’t really seem like home here any more. I still like the change and am glad to be back, it’s just more of an adjustment than I thought it would be.

For the majority of my clients my change of physical location shouldn’t be an impact we handled affairs via fax, phone, email and other electronic methods. I do regret that I won’t be able to give the same personal attention to my clients in the Virginia Beach area as I previously could. I was lucky enough to meet a bunch of wonderful people while in Virginia and will miss seeing them regularly.

Well, on with the unpacking. Best of wishes to all in this new year.
