Most of the details of Adobe’s massive upgrade to all of it’s CS3 (Creative Suite 3 for those who aren’t familiar with Adobe’s product naming conventions) line of graphic and interactive content creation software have been out there for a week or two. Adobe already annouced an officiall rollout date of March 27th for the suite, but no shipping date or pricing information was available until now.
Amazon leaked pricing information by posting pre-order pages for the new Adobe software.

In anticipation for the release of the movie 300 I went to the official movie site thinking I might download a wallpaper for my desktop. While they were all ok, I was really disappointed as nothing looked that great to me. I decided to put a few elements together and create my own. These are actually an updated set thanks to some of the feedback I received. As I promised yesterday, some new versions have been included below. I started out with just a couple, but since the downloads were racking up so quickly, I added a few more choices. I hope you enjoy them.

Adobe announced that the company will be releasing two different versions of Photoshop this year: Photoshop CS3, and Photoshop CS3 Extended.
Photoshop CS3 will be the standard version of Photoshop (now out in Beta) that will launch with the next version of the popular Creative Suite. Adobe will be unveiling the new products at a special event on March 27th. Photoshop CS3 is apparently targeted to video and multimedia professionals, as well as other industries who might take advantage of the 3d rendering capabilities. According to reports, Adobe Systems plans to release a hosted version of its popular Photoshop image-editing application within six months.
Adobe, whose business is built largely around packaged software that is installed locally on users’ computers, is looking to diversify its business with online services. Read more
