Matt has been working on a new resource for adoptive dads. He noticed the lack of any real resources on the subject, and being the take-charge kind of guy that he is, he jumped feet first into creating this new site. It’s still in the pre-official launch stage, but it looks mighty spiffy and I know it’s going to be chock full of great information. Keep an eye on AdoptiveDads.org for some really good information.

Okay, So there I was…..
I walked into the Level Ten office building this morning to quite a shock. It was a wall of heat that greated me at the door. Take in mind that this was 6:15 in the morning and it was a pleasant 67 degrees outside. The heat INSIDE the building is staggering. I swear I hear the air blowing but it must be on heater mode or something. When I got up to our office, I looked at the thermostat and although it’s set to cool and turned down, the guage is pegged at over 90 degrees. (see the photo below)
It was pretty hot up here at the end of last week, but I don’t think it was this bad. I made a “fan run” to Target to help ease the pain a bit. I think something was broken in the AC and I hope they get around to fixing it soon. If not, I guess we’ll all be building websites in our underpants. Whoa, I just got an image….

In contrast to the previous post about making art in your cup of coffee, these fine folks use coffee as the medium for actual paintings. Think of a nice watercolor that smells like mocha. What could be better. They say they have a special technique to get the really dark values in there… something that others have missed so far. For so long I’ve heard the excuse “the church is full of hypocrites” as the reason that people either won’t go to church in the first place, or maybe as the reason they become disillusioned and quit going. Of course there are hypocrites in the church. We face hypocrisy every day in a variety of ways. I found this really good article on another site that addresses the subject really well and thought I would reproduce it here. I hope that it might help somebody.
