Kevin Kline just makes me laugh. This one one of my favorite movie scenes. It’s from the movie “In & Out”. Lot’s of fun!

Wow. Somebody really had a lot of free time on their hands for this one. The is hands down the largest pixel art piece I’ve ever come across. It’s incredibly complex and it just goes on and on. It’s truly massive. The whole piece comes out to 10,000 pixels wide and little more than that tall. Thats almost 140″ tall at just 72dpi. You really have to see it to belive it.

Garamond Meets Bob Dylan

I found another fantastic use of type in an animation. It’s strangely hypnotic and backed with Bob Dylan’s “Don’t think twice, it’s all right”. I’m still having a love affair with typography in general. This just feeds the fire.

The Stereotypes at Eric Myer’s photography site are INSANELY (Matt word) addictive. I’ve killed almost an hour there already. I love the concept and all the work they put into making all the pieces work so seamlessly. Bravo. Go kill an hour over at the site. You know you weren’t doing anything important anyhow.

Tales of the New Republic

Well, 30 years after the release of the original Star Wars movie, it seems that we’re still as enamored as ever with the battles between the Rebel Alliance and the Empire. Some fanboys have put together a pretty nifty animated trailer… some decent animation for a low budget fan film. They say they’re not afilliated with Lucasfilm Productions in any way so I don’t see how it could lead into a full animated series without Lucasfilm’s consent. Lucasfilm already has an animated Clone Wars series of their own in the works. Either way, I had fun watching for a couple of minutes.
