Loading ...Digg is a popular social content site that allows its members to bookmark and shar websites, news articles, online videos and podcasts they find useful or enjoyable. In other words, members determine what content is shown on the Digg network.
One way a website owner can encourage someone to “digg” their site is to give their visitors a direct link to digg.com by placing a button on their page.
Unfortunately the Digg instructions on how to integrate the buttons into a webpage are a bit tedious for many people who are new to website design, especially if they are unfamiliar with URL encoding.
This online link generator helps to take the guesswork out of creating your digg link.
Step 1: Choose a digg button from the images below. When you find one you like, right click on it and save to your hard drive. (please don’t link directly to these). Then insert it into your webpage as normal.
Step 2: Fill in your website address, title and description in the generator below. Pick a topic from the drop down down list that you would like to be listed in on Digg then press the button to make your link code.
Step 3: Make sure your link is formatted correctly like the example below.
