Complex Cutaway Technical Illustrations

Loading ...I’ve always been fascinated with cutaway views and technical illustrations. It’s that point where architecture and engineering meet artistry. I can remember having a large cutaway illustration of Star Trek’s Enterprise hanging on my wall many years ago. Anyhow, I was intrigued to find this tutorial on how the artist illustrates cutaway versions of cruise ships. He chooses to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop over traditional CAD rendering techniques as he feels he has more creative control in the illustration packages. The level of detail and precision is truly amazing.
