Another Site Design Ripoff
Well, it happened yet again. Another one of my client’s site designs was ripped off by a competitor. North Shore Parasail of Lake Tahoe is now sporting the exact same design as my client, Beach Parasail of Virginia Beach. I’m hoping that the parasail company isn’t to blame for the plagarism. It could be that their “web design firm”, a company which on the site bills themselves as “NSPR” but then links to a real estate site with no mention of any web development. Nonetheless, if the parasail company isn’t the culprit, they should have done some market research and/or hired a reputable developer to get their own custom site.
The ripoff site uses many of the same identical graphics, and those that were recreated were obviously done by an amateur. With all the proliferation of free or low cost web templates out there, it always amazes me that people resort to outright theft of other peoples designs. I guess some things never do change. first off, nice design. Very nice infact. However, for some reason the rip off works better in my linux firefox. :\

It appears they have shut down the site.
It’s flattering, I’m sure, but mostly annoying.
