SanDisk Sansa TakeTV

Do you download a lot of videos and wish you could easily watch them on your TV without burning a DVD? You should try the SanDisk Sansa TakeTV Video Player. At around $150 for the 8GB model, you can get up to 10 hours of video playback time in a compact player and don’t have to pony up for more expensive solutions.

Using the TakeTV is as simple as using a USB flash drive: just drag files to your TakeTV player, slip it into the TV cradle, and press play on the included remote. No confusing WiFi set-ups, no waiting to burn DVDs.

The player supports a variety of the most common video formats and also works with Fanfare BETA, a new web service that gives you access to a growing list of TV shows and movies that you can download and watch on your TV. Currently, Fanfare isn’t supporting the Mac platform, so iTunes is still a good choice for your movie and TV downloads.

I got my TakeTV player yesterday and have already put it through its paces. The build quality is great, the on screen interfaces are well designed and easy to use, and it just works really well right out of the box. I’m definitely a new TakeTV fan.
