Sadly, Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch passed away this week. If you haven’t already watched his “Last Lecture” you’re missing out. I would definitely recommend taking the time out to watch the video or maybe buy the book. It’s great stuff.

I found these somewhat creepy real-life versions of cartoon and game characters the other day. They’re really well done, but I have to admit, I think I appreciate the animated versions of the characters a lot more.

This video will ring home as ever so true to any designer out there. The clients who want to micromanage every part of the process, but tell you to “do what you do best” and “be creative, we trust you.” You would think that designing a stop sign would be a pretty straightforward process, but alas, our hero discovers otherwise.
