iPhone File Server & File Viewer

Okay, in my book, this is the first really useful app I’ve found on the app store for the new iPhone. The DataCase app by Veiosoft adds some much needed file storage capabilities to the iPhone. I’ve heard of others out there, but have also heard lots of grumblings about the lack of features or other issuses. I spent the $6.99 on the advice of my friend Carl and grabbed the app. I have to admit, I’m really glad I did.

Awesome Villain Chair

A Badass Villain Chair? Leather, chrome steel, aluminum…Oh yeah! Now all I need are some henchmen and sharks with laser beams on their frickin’ heads…Oh, and the 7 big bills to pay for it. Well.. Maybe I’ll just be evil in my normal desk chair for now.

Sadly, Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch passed away this week. If you haven’t already watched his “Last Lecture” you’re missing out. I would definitely recommend taking the time out to watch the video or maybe buy the book. It’s great stuff.

Real Life Game and Cartoon Characters

I found these somewhat creepy real-life versions of cartoon and game characters the other day. They’re really well done, but I have to admit, I think I appreciate the animated versions of the characters a lot more.
